There will be several improvements to the UICS website this year.
Looking forward, the Board of Directors has enthusiastically adopted the "Harlem Children's Zone" educational model founded by Geoffrey Canada in Harlem, New York and depicted in the book "Whatever It Takes," by Paul Tough.
Our goal is to focus on the 64127 zip code and ensure that all the children in our community are provided with services and educational opportunities needed for success in our society. We look forward to this expanding role of service for our community. Stay tuned for additional information.
